Her Royal Highness has organised her yearly festive musical service at the historic Abbey, with a congregation comprising dignitaries, stars, and everyday helpers who have helped their communities.
The large audience will enjoy a mix of festive songs, musical performances, and spoken word pieces from stars like award-winning actors.
The central message of the concert, held in the candle-lit Abbey on the afternoon, is kindness and showing love to others.
Attending the event are Jonathan and Anna Cordiner, whose young girl was lost to a brain tumour, and who founded an organisation, a charity called Kayleigh's Wee Stars, to aid parents with a terminally ill child.
"Your efforts, love, and understanding, often quietly and unspoken, and without any thought of thanks or praise, make an profound impact to the circumstances of individuals," Her Royal Highness stated in a note prior to the festive gathering.
The Princess of Wales is continuing her own gradual return to the public eye subsequent to her illness and medical care, last month delivering her major oration since 2023, in which she talked about recognising the "discreet, frequently unseen labour of caregivers".
Attendees entering the Abbey can listen to budding artists backed by the Future Talent organisation, co-founded by the former royal to widen access to instrumental training.
Carys Wood, aged 18, who is a trumpet player and is from southwest Wales, has been supported by the organisation, with awards contributing to musical instruments, lessons and travel costs - and she said it was "incredible" to be performing at tonight's service.
"Musical pursuits are frequently pricey," the musician remarked. She is now studying at the renowned conservatoire, and added that "everyone should have the opportunity" to develop their musical skills.
Eliza, Carys's sister who is 11, who is a euphonium player, will likewise attend the Abbey. "I never imagined I would perform in front of so many distinguished guests," she said.
Among the guests will be individuals spanning multiple eras.
That will encompass Saphia Turner, aged nine, winner of a young hero award, who sells artwork and carries out sponsored challenges to raise money for local food charities.
The Abbey has been festooned with handcrafted festive wreaths, with celebrity baker Mary Berry and floral designer Simon Lycett contributing to their design.
Among the musical performers will be Katie Melua, choristers from Westminster Abbey and a Cornish sea shanty group, the group Fisherman's Friends, who said the opportunity to perform was "a dream come true."
The Together at Christmas carol concert will be aired by television on December 24th.
